Family Fun Days
Family Fun days in April and September each year
Sunny skies greeted the Crater Lake National Park Trust's first "Family Fun Day" at the park on September 27th, 2008. Free root beer floats were provided by Crater Lake Soda, a Portland based gourmet soda company, and the Dairy Farmers of Oregon.
On Family Fun Days admission to the park is free. Park rangers present special kid-friendly programs throughout the afternoon. Spring Family Fun Day in April focuses on SNOW! In the fall in late September the Klamath Indian Dancers and Singers preform traditional tribal dances. The Trust intends to present such events regularly in the future.
