Family Fun Day
Details on the 2008 Family Fun Day
Sunny skies greeted the Crater Lake National Park Trust's first "Family Fun Day" at the park on September 27th, 2008. Free root beer floats were provided by Crater Lake Soda, a Portland based gourmet soda company, and the Dairy Farmers of Oregon.
Admission to the park was free all day in honor of Public Lands Day. Park rangers presented special kid-friendly programs throughout the afternoon, and the Klamath Indian Dancers and Singers preformed traditional tribal dances. The Trust intends to present such events regularly in the future.
