Trail Status

Trail Conditions as of  11/2009

It’s that time of year when trails in Crater Lake National Park are transitioning from hiking trails to skiing trails. Our roads are now in winter status thus only the skiing trailheads are accessible. There is still significant downfall in the backcountry and many trails are not marked and so may be hard to follow. Trails will become increasingly difficult to follow from here forward. Know your limits and be prepared.
