September Family Fun Day
Family Fun Day
Join us at Crater Lake for our annual Family Fun Day! This celebration is planned each year in conjunction with National Public Lands Day in late September, and all visitors can enter the park at no charge!
The event will feature amazing dancing performances by the Klamath Indigenous Dance Society and live music will be provided by the Wocus Bay drummers.
Wildlife Images will also be there presenting and educating visitors about indigenous birds of prey. From 1-3PM the Crater Lake Trust will give out free root beer floats thanks to donations from Crater Lake Soda and the Dairy Farmers of Oregon.
This season we will start the morning off with the an optional volunteer conservation project. Help from 10AM to noon with trail maintenance, trash pickup or invasive plant removal and then celebrate with free ice cream floats and environmental and cultural education.
