Family Snow Day
Family Snow Day brings youth and families to Crater Lake for a free event, in conjunction with National Parks Week, to celebrate Crater Lake in its winter form.
Family Snow Day is a free gathering for youth and their families to celebrate Crater Lake in winter.
Activities will include snowshoe races for kids, "snow science" activities led by National Park Service rangers, winter safety demonstrations by the Crater Lake Ski Patrol, snow shelter and igloo building, demonstrations of park snow removal equipment, and more.
Family Snow Day 2011 is yet to be announced, but should be during National Park's week in 2011. Check back to this page for the date in 2011.
