Public Events Volunteer

The Crater Lake National Park Trust works to help protect, promote, and enhance Crater Lake National Park, its unique water purity, and its value for human inspiration and knowledge. We envision a future in which Crater Lake National Park is widely recognized as an Oregon icon and a national treasure; in which the Park serves as a thriving laboratory and classroom; and in which every Oregonian and growing numbers of others feel a deep connection and love for Crater Lake.

At Crater Lake National park Trust we recognize the importance of volunteers to our organization. In exchange for the work volunteers accomplish we hope to leave each volunteer with more knowledge, experience and a sense of accomplishing important change for Crater Lake.

Skills

a.       Completed a Crater Lake National Park Trust Volunteer Training

b.      Comfortable speaking to the community one on one

c.       Organized and follows directions well

Responsibilities

a.       Available to help with event set up prior to event

b.       Aware and informed of the Trusts mission

Time Commitment

a.       All volunteer must complete a Volunteer Training prior to the event

b.      Volunteers will asked to stay as long as it is convenient, although must be able to work with fellow volunteers to cover the bulk of the event.

Minimum Age: 16 without parent supervision
